They use only fresh spices from their Bana farms in Udupiwala Sambar Masala. No added color or chemical used in Udupiwala Sambar Masala.

How to use: -
Cooking direction for a family of 4: -
- Cook: 3 tbsp Toor dal +3 cups water +½ tbs oil +pinch turmeric powder.
- Add: 240 gram Cut vegetables + 1 cup water and cook
- GRIND: 1 tbsp. UDUPIWALA sambar masala powder + 2 tbsp coconut + ½ cup water. Add to cooked dal and vegetables.
- ADD: 2½ tbsp tamarind pulp (1:5tamarind: water) + salt + 1 tbsp jaggery.
- BOIL: ½ tbsp oil in a pan; crackle ½ tsp mustard, curry leaves & add to Sambar.
- Serve with idli, dosa, vada and rice.
